As winter horse show season kicks off, I'm always excited to hit the road, but also a little low leaving the farm. This past fall, we harvested (literally) buckets of heirloom tomatoes, more melons than we could eat, and basil for a year's worth of pesto. The guardian dogs went on three unsupervised field trips across the Garden Valley township. We prepared the sheep barn and the ewes for another breeding season.
